Legal
Terms & Conditions
By accessing or purchasing our engine remapping services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General
- These terms apply to all users of our website and services.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use our services.
2. Service Description
- We provide custom and pre-configured engine remapping (ECU tuning) files for performance or economy purposes.
- All remap files are intended for off-road, motorsport, or export use only, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that any tuning files used are legal in your jurisdiction.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- You confirm that your vehicle is mechanically sound before applying a remap.
- You must use appropriate tools to read and write ECU files.
- You agree not to upload or share our tuning files with any third party.
4. Liability Disclaimer
- We are not liable for any damage caused by improper use of remapping tools or incompatible hardware.
- We do not guarantee gains in performance, fuel economy, or emissions compliance.
- Use of our files may void vehicle warranties and violate local emissions regulations.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
All tuning products are bespoke digital content, produced for your specific vehicle and supplied electronically.
By completing your order you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that, once the file has been supplied, you lose the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Once a file has been delivered the order is therefore non-refundable. This includes, without limitation:
- a change of mind
- the vehicle being sold, modified, or taken off the road
- an inability to flash the file caused by hardware, software or vehicle faults outside our control
- results differing from your expectations where the file performs as described
If you cancel before the file has been produced, email richard@caflash.app and you will receive a full refund.
Free demonstration files are supplied at no charge and carry no refund entitlement.
None of the above affects your statutory rights. If a file is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We will first attempt to repair or replace the file; where that is not possible, a refund may be due.
6. Privacy
Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share customer information with third parties except as required to deliver our services.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
